Frequently Asked Questions

Who does the Foundation support?
The Foundation supports registered charities and community initiatives working across five areas: housing security and homelessness prevention; medical research, health and wellbeing; community resilience and social inclusion; early intervention and youth support; and social justice and cultural inclusion.

Through our inaugural 2025 program we supported Plate It Forward, Giant Steps, Kids with Cancer Foundation, Camden Women's Shelter, My Catmunnity and Odyssey House. We have since partnered with SSMRF to bring Recycle 4 Research into strata buildings, and supported the Beachside Dash.
Does the Foundation still run grants?
No. Following our inaugural grants program in 2025, the Foundation moved to a focused,
partnership-led approach and is not planning any further open grant rounds. Rather than conducting open rounds, the Board identifies and approaches organisations directly, in line with the Foundation’s purpose and areas of support. We do not accept unsolicited funding applications or proposals, including those submitted through our contact form.
Where does the Foundation's money go?
Every dollar the Foundation distributes goes directly to the organisations and initiatives it supports. No salaries, fees or payments are made to Board members or anyone else involved in running the Foundation. The Foundation is funded by Netstrata, which also covers its operating costs
How can I donate to the Foundation?
Donations can be made at any time through our donate page.
Are donations tax deductible?
Yes. The Netstrata Foundation is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), which means donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. A receipt is issued for every donation.
